So I didn't want to post a whole bunch of posts at once, hopefully this format will work!
Quick help- what must I have for rabbits? We're getting a few tomorrow night just for the kids, we have plenty of large caged in areas in our barn both indoor and on the outside along the front of the barn. It was last minute, but dh ran over dd's kitten on friday and we are trying to find something to take her mind off her poor kitty while we try to replace the cat (no one has responded to me yet on kijiji!). Can I use straw for the bedding? I've got a bale left from last fall's harvest decoration.
We are getting poultry next week! 20 chicks, 3 turkeys (tom poults?) and 2 ducklings. Can we have them all together in the warmer at first or do they need to be kept separated immediately? We can separate them, but it would be a lot more work is all.
