A new AIO. I'm thinking about the Thirsties. Does anybody know if they work ok with a chunky thighed baby?

Thanks!

We use the new Thirsties Duo Diaper and love it. My ds2 has really chunk-o-love thighs. Their aio is now discontinued & on clearance at a lot of places and for us it was not absorbant enough by itself, we always had to add absorbancy into the pocket.

I really like the Mother-ease aio - suprisingly absorbant and doesn't take any longer to dry than my prefolds, which is a plus with an aio!

Thanks I meant the Thirsties Duo, not the aio.

I order several motherease, but their company is having problems getting any diapers shipped, so the store is going to let me switch them out for another brand...

I totally hated the DuoDiaper. I just...hated it, I hate the sleeve and the insert sticking out at EACH end, folding the insert down made the diaper really bulky and seemingly uncomfortable, it's not an AIO. I do like the hemp/cotton part of the insert though. I use the Thirsties AIO and like that diaper. My dd doesn't have very chunky thighs, but the double gusset part does leave a bit of a mark on her skin, so that's something to think about. The gusset mark applies to the DuoDiaper and the DuoWrap (which I love) as well.

I've had good luck with the few AIOs I've tried on DD--the BG AIO, the BG organic, Thirsties, even Kushies...my new favorite AIO is the Bamboo Baby--LOVE LOVE LOVE it. If the dipe weren't super expensive, I'd get more. So soft and very absorbent, no leaks at night.
