Mutant dandelion!

So, wanna hear our Science for the day? We found a mutant dandelion right outside our apartment. My dd, 10, dissected it and the thing had seven heads! The stem was extra thick. I put a few pics up on my blog if anyone wants to peep it out. I'd link directly, but I'm not sure if that's allowed. I put the link up in my profile. I'm such a geek, but I think its super cool, lol!!! Has anyone else seen something like this?

Yes, we found one in the yard last summer. It was very strange -- I had never seen anything like it! We brought it in and put it in a glass of water and took pictures too. Didn't dissect it, though. Good idea!

Off topic, but I noticed on my way to your blog that we have the same birthday, just 3 years apart!

Off topic, again, but I'm fairly sure you are allowed to link to your blog in your signature as long as your blog page has no advertising. (sigh) I miss the blog links!

Wow, cool! I wonder why it mutated into a seven-headed beast dandelion? That is the stuff myths are written about

At the top right of my blog are my labels. The dandelion is under the label Science, so just click on Science, it is at the top, for now!

Another witness!

I have also seen this strange dandelion. It was last Thursday at the park with my friends. I saw it and said to them, "Hey guys, come look at this mutant dandelion!" And then we all took pictures. I have them posted on my facebook page. Would I be able to post a link?

There it is, anyway.

(I did just make this account to respond to the topic. I was wondering if I was the only one to discover one. I'm glad I'm not.)

Happy mutant dandelion searching!
