My DS had an xray of his hips done last thursday. 4/1... and I found out I was pg on sunday. I wore an apron while in on the xray... should i be ok?

Obviously, at this point there is nothing you can do to go back and not go in for the X-ray.

Since you were wearing the usual lead apron during it... and since it was not directly on you I would say don't worry! Your baby will be fine

If they were X-rays right to your pelvis that would cause enough radiation to go straight to the baby that it might raise your risk of problems but since you were wearing the protection and not even the person the X-rays were being shot at you got a very low dose (if any)

My Grandma is always raving about the pregnancy x-rays she had in France (this would have been in the 50s) and my mom is still around and kicking (my auntie did die of cancer before she was 60 but it was prob from her smoking not the pre-natal x-rays) so I wouldn't be too concerned- I bet the whole of France around that time had x-rays while pregnant/in-utero.

They used to do x-rays instead of ultrasounds and the x-ray dosage was WAY higher than modern x-rays. I wouldn't stress. Congratulations!
