Oh, big duh!

I just realized the reason I feel horrible, overwhelmed, and exhausted and drained and stressed and at the end of my rope right now, despite having had a fairly easy day with not much overly challengeing is that I've been eating a lot of sugar AND eating at my parents house the past couple of days. I think I need to start bringing my own food to their house. both my parents eat weird diets. I think my mom is doing the south beach diet and my dad eats this weird almost no fat, always be hunger to lose weight diet. Which means that there really isn't that much good food for me when we eat there, and I often end up eating a LOT of sugar when I'm there.

I think the sugar is why I feel so bad now. grrr. it's hard. passover is making me feel always hungry.

Get plenty of fats in - take them with you if you have to.

Ugh...I totally feel your pain! We didn't really even eat a lot of sweets/chocolate but definitely more than normal (not hard considering I haven't been eating any and been pretty low carb and grain too!) and there was a fair bit of alcohol and general carbs in the mix too, with the result that yesterday and today I have been feeling grumpy, lacking in energy/motivation and absolutely STARVING!!!! I am pounding the good fats today, but am still hungry....just had avocado and crispy parma ham in a caesar dressing for lunch, then a coconut/almond flour muffin and now going to have a coconut milk & berry smoothie, with extra coconut oil and hope that satisfies me for a bit.

Let's hope we are all feeling a lot better soon!
