pancreatic enzymes?

I am three weeks into a TED for my very sensitive 7 week old DD. I've been down to nothing but turkey, rice, pears, zucchini, and safflower oil for about a week and we're still having visible flecks of blood with watery stools and increased fussiness. We did a formula trial and she did very well on it, but proceeded to regress once breastmilk was reintroduced. It's maddening. We're seeing the pedi GI doc tomorrow, but in the mean time, I'm looking into starting pancreatic enzymes. I've read some small studies about how they can be helpful in such situations. Does anyone have experience with this? The studies cite use of a prescription pancrease, but I'm wondering if the OTC Pancrease by Country Life would work as well? I'd love to hear about the experience mamas on here have had with pancreatic enzymes for allergic colitis that doesn't fully respond to elmination. Thanks!

I think enzymes have helped me & I've been on an elimination diet for my DS for 6 months. I take Digest Gold. My DS can't tolerate enzymes directly, though. I mostly responded to your post to say my DS reacts to rice (all grains) & turkey (probably grain fed), too.
