Hi All,
I'm asking this question here because my friends don't feel their cervices. Yesterday I had intercourse for the first time (I only slept with women before), and this morning I noticed that my cervical opening feels very soft and open, but with a hard spot off to one side. I've never felt this before, and it has me a bit scared. Has anyone ever noticed something similar? Is it normal?
I'm on day 13 of my cycle and I haven't had my LH surge yet. I wasn't having intecourse to try to get pregnant, and we used and then didn't use protection.

I'll really appreciate any responses...

I don't want to freak you out, but that hard spot might worry me. I would call your OB and get it checked out just in case. Good luck!

Sounds like a Nabothian cyst

I just typed that about the Nabothian cyst and someone beat me to it!

I have to say that I agree with those who said it sounds like you had sex at a fertile time. I don't know how long your cycles are, but sperm can live for a pretty long time in the right conditions, 5-6 days even, so you're probably well within the range of your ovulation unless you have really long cycles or ovulate unusually late.
