Anyone remember that website.... to plan a garden....

I know last spring/summer there was a link on here to a website where you could plan out your garden. You could make an online garden as big as your real one and put the plants in and it would tell you how much room each plant needed, etc. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd love to play around on it again if someone remembers. Thanks!

I tried to register for this one and it keeps telling me I have the wrong zip code. I live in Canada, I chose Canada, I chose the right province, but it still won't let me

Randomly, I always use USA, Chicago, Illinois 60606 for stuff like that, because I find it easy to remember the 60606. (The zip is for the Chicago downtown area/the loop).

Or, if you want to be evil, the O'Hare area of Chicago zip code is 60666. Mark of the beast and all.

You may be thinking of the software PlanGarden http://www.plangarden.com/

I used it last year, and it was fairly useful to make a garden layout, but I decided not to pay for it.

I think I tried plangarden for the pretty pictures. But the free trial period was only like a month, so I only got my pretty pictures and that was that. Neat idea though, especially if you're not fond of graph paper and pencil, or don't keep your constant garden revisions in a pile in your desk.

Thanks!!! Growveg.com was the one I used last year

However, I totally decided to change everything and try doing the square foot garden idea this year. We used fishing line (and tacks) to outline the squares (I have a raised bed). It will be interesting.... hope it works!
