Can your baby get comfortable when napping in back carry?

We recently "graduated" to a back carry (had been doing FFI for the last 3 months) - but my DD can't seem to get comfortable when trying to nap in back carry. With FFI, she could nestle her head against my chest and sleep comfortably. But with the back carry - I found that her head kept falling back - with no support at all - and she was very restless. There seems to be nothing for her to rest her head on (my back is straight).

Any ideas of what we are doign wrong here?

Thanks for any advice!

What kind of carrier are you wearing your baby in?

I was going to ask the same.

With the Beco, I can use the sleep hood and that helps. With a wrap I can snug up the top rail and that will keep her head in a good position, but with the babyhawk, I have to switch her to the front for naps.

Nor can I- her head flops back if I don't stoop over.

She does nap very well in the wrap. I put her on my back with her arms all tucked in and she nestles the side of her face into the tops of my shoulder blades and can nap for good stretches up there and it leaves me free to do what I need to do around the house

(I put her in a ruck or double hammock)
