Just wondering if anyone has experience with running with a painful/injured rotator cuff? (yes, I've self-diagnosed a rotator cuff problem but I am very sure that it's an old climbing injury resurfacing.). I know i need to go to the physio, but I want to do a 10.5k run in two weeks & I want to keep up my usual runs prior to that. Would taping my shoulder to minimise movement help? How do I place the tape? Pulling the shoulder back for alignment? This has been ongoing for months (again ), sometimes just a niggling pain & other times it requires Nurofen to manage.

Sorry, I know this is a rather odd question, but I am hoping some of the other running folks here might have some suggestions. Thanks in advance!
