I wouldn't trust a product from a company that was so unwilling to recall a product of theirs that had caused infant deaths, nor would I want to support said company.

I agree 150% on this. With that said I heard that some momma's took one apart and said it was decently made... still not good enough for me to buy though.

You could make your own for close to that price and *know* that its safe.

I had the infantino sling that I took off freecycle when I was pregnant. Never got to throwing it away so I sent it in to the company when they 'conveniently' had mei tai offers. I thought I might freecycle the mei tai to continue the loop... some mom or dad out there might be able to use it, bad company or not. But, with that said, I would never buy one from them. They don't deserve my $$.
