Nursing, TTC, OPK help

Hi Ladies,
I am on my 3rd cycle of ttc. I should be o'ing like today, but I'm not really having any cm signs, my opk's are coming back neg. (this is the first time I'm using them). We night-weaned my dd at 21 months (4 months ago) which finally brought on my ppaf, but last month we un-night-weaned b/c of illness, teething, etc.

We really want to get pregnant asap (of course, who doesn't when ttc!). Gearing up for re-nightweaning (hopefully in the next couple days, just have to build up the courage. ).

So, can night nursing reinstate lack of o? Should I continue to use the opk's? I'm down to my last 2 in the box and not really excited about the idea of spending $$ on more... When I do re-night-wean, when would I o? Ugh, I'm all confused - help!

Here's my chart:

I would keep taking them, unless you feel comfortable just going with CM. I buy OPKs online, through Amazon and get 50 at a time, they are pretty cheap that way (40 cents? if that). Night nursing may not take away O but it was move it back, I am still nursing and my O day seems to change a few days in either direction each month.
Good luck!

increasing nursing can definately delay O. When the nursing increases your prolactin increases and your estrogen drops which is the hormone that signals your body to release LH that tells you body to O. If your CM is EW then your estrogen might still be high enough to trigger the LH so your body will O. The OPKs read the LH in your body so I would keep testing. Hopefully your O is just delayed a few days. I know how hard it is to wait for your body. I didn't get my PPAF back till 21mo PP ad then had a chemical pg the first month and now 4mo later still not PG. I always wanted my kids closer tog. but nature has it's own plans and I figure it will happen when it is supposed to. Good luck
