I currently live in the burbs of Central NJ. I'm seriously conisdering moving to JC with my 3 y/o DS. I'm a single wokring mom.
Where should I look/ avoid?
Do you love it/ hate it?

Looking ot buy for under 300K or rent for under 1500 per month.

We moved from JC to Central NJ just before having our son 2 years ago. Downtown near Grove St, Hamilton Park and Paulus Hook are great places. So many young families in the area. Don't move near Journal Square, it's getting better, but still a pretty shady area. There's a JC moms meetup group, you should check that out.
