Has anyone used this pool? I am tall :)

I found this pool on the Canadian Tire website, although I am sure it is available elsewhere as well.

It has the inflatable floor and all that but I am not sure if it would be too shallow for me. I am 6'2" and want to have a really nice water birth. I did think that I could labour in my bathtub if I had too but it is really narrow and deep. Meaning I could be covered but not have alot of room to move around at all. Any insight would really be appreciated since I have never done this before. Both my previous births were easy text book births (all natural besides having my water broken at 7 cms.) I really enjoyed the bath at the hospital during transition but of course had to get out as soon as it was time to push. I am hoping this homebirth will be everything I imagined.

Oh if this doesn't work I was thinking of buying the La Bassine... it seems that quite a few people like it and for the prices I have found it really seems worth it versus renting a pool.

I had a fairly similar pool, and at just under 5'9"... I would honestly say a 60" pool would probably be too small to be comfortable at 5" taller than I am. Wish I had something better to say, but I think it's a lot better to be realistic and you be able to be comfortable in the long run.

I had the fishy pool which was one of the deepest inflatable pools I could find and it was still not good enough. I'm 5'8 and I wanted the water to cover my belly without having to lay on my side. This time I'm using the idea another mama I know had and getting a rubbermaid livestock tub from a local farm supply store. This also fixes the problem I had with the inflatable pool not being sturdy enough on the walls for me to lay on them.

Thanks for the help I did end up going with the La Bassine as I know how much I want to have a comfortable birth. It of course cost more but I think it will be worth it in the end.
