DS, 17 1/2 months, seems to finally have gotten back on track with his sleep. He'll go to bed at about 10, wake around 5:30 to nurse, then go back to sleep and not wake up for good until about 9 am. Naps have varied, but he's down to one nap that ranges from 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hours.
Here's the problem; he goes to bed at 10 PM!!!! I am a student mom, and I study while he sleeps. This means I'm up until 1 am or later trying to get my homework done. DH and I get no alone time. By the time Ds goes to be I have to jump right on homweork and DH goes to bed shortly after DS to get up for work in the morning.
But when we try to move DS's bed time up, or he's very tired and goes to bed early, he wakes up at 4 am and is awake until 6 (nursing or not) and then sleeps until 9 anyways.
Any ideas on how to move his bedtime earlier and still get him the sleep he needs? Or am I stuck with a toddler that goes to bed late? Thanks!
