Anyone Hatch their own Chicks w/o Incubator?

Ok, so I know it's not reccomended to try it w/o one, but I can't buy one and don't have the time or ability to make one. Here's the situation: I wanted Americaunas real bad and looked high and low and could not find them in Ontario and could not afford the shipping. Today I stumbled on Americauna fertilized eggs for a good price on kijiji. They are near my sister's house. My sister is coming for a visit on friday, she lives 4 hours away. Any tips for them surviving the transport?

So, is there any way I can make this work? With a 4 hr car ride and no incubator? I was thinking maybe an electric blanket inside a cooler, turning the eggs with wet fingers 3x a day or setting a cup of water inside so it will evaporate and create humidity. Is there any chance this will work, or any other ideas? FWIW, I also have heat lamps with 250 watt red bulbs that I have in prep for hatched chicks, are these useful at all or will they cause hard boiled eggs!?

BTW, do I expect them to hatch about 21 days from the time I start their "incubation" or from the day they were lay by the hen??? If it doesn't work out I'm out only a few bucks.

I have an incubator that is empty right now, would you like me to hatch some for you?? I'll send you a PM.
