Freezing Kefir?

Can I freeze kefir into popsicles? I do it with smoothies all the time and have some kefir I need to use up and was wondering if anyone has frozen it with success. TIA!

Yes! I put it in ice trays and then can pop them out and use as many as I need for a smoothie. They work fine. I don't know if the nutritional value - probiotics, etc - are still active. Maybe someone else knows the answer to that.

Should be fine, per my understanding. Unless you leave them in there for months and months.
