I used to rarely get sick, I would get maybe 1 or 2 colds a year but other than that nothing. When I was a nanny I was sick more, but that was because I was cleaning up someone's snot or puke while they were sick and so it was more likely that I would get sick anyway. However, since I had my daughter (17 months) I get a cold what feels like all the time. Every time I'm around someone who is sick (and I mean around, if I'm in the same room as a sick person even for a short period) I will get a cold. I've gotten a stomach bug from my neice who I held for maybe 15 minutes, and this is all stuff that I did before I had dd and didn't get sick. Currently I have ANOTHER cold, I'm up to too many to count! And dd is NEVER sick. She had her FIRST illness in Feb, while I've been sick many times. I'm still nursing, so I guess that I'm protecting her, but it feels like she's stealing all my body's fighting ability! I never have anything serious, just a cold or a stomach bug, but its getting really frustrating!
Is there anything I can do to boost my immune system? I eat healthy and exercise but after that I'm at a loss!
