The weight of breastfeeding...

I'm talking litterally...
Yes, this is petty, but I'm curious!
How much extra weight do you figure is a fair estimate of your breast when you are BM?

I was telling a (male) running partner that my breasts are heavier since I was breastfeeding, and that was affecting my running. He wasn't buying it. I need numbers!!

It's going to depend on your breast size to begin with. I'm a 42 F (might even be bigger now...) and I would say when I'm full up they can weigh about 7-8lbs each. I've heard the "standard" for a normal breast is 1 lbs per cup size (A- 1 lbs, B-2 lbs, C-3 lbs, D-4lbs, DD/E-5lbs, DDD/F-6lbs)

A pound per cup size sounds about right!

SWEET! A lb/cup makes me feel better about the scale. At least I can blame the boobs.

wow! then I'm caring an extra 7-9 lbs! lol that's pretty funny to consider!

and to be far it's not even that it's a LOT of weight... it's that it's hanging and swinging weight. and (for me atleast) it hurts to have them swinging all about! I never could find a decent exercising bra for breastfeeding/bigger boobs...
