This may cost more than you're looking to spend, but we have a Kanoe baby hammock and LOVE it. It's super-easy to mount to from the ceiling (you just screw a hook into a stud, essentially), which means it doesn't occupy floor space, and you can install more than one hook so that you can easily move it, if you need. It's on a spring, so you can bounce it or swing it--my 3-year-old was thrilled when she discovered that she could gently bounce the baby back to sleep during her nap. We love ours. And the spring is rated to 35 pounds or something like that, so my 3-year-old can lay in it as well. Occasionally my 5-year-old wants to get in it, and we simply bi-pass the spring and he can get in it, too. Love, love, love it.
