Gluten Free Rapadura?

I've been searching the internet to find a place I can buy rapadura. However, I noticed on a few places it said it may be cross-contaminated with wheat (this was Rapunzel rapadura). My DD and I are gluten intolerant and have to avoid all gluten (even cross-contamination). I searched online and saw a gluten free rapadura in Australia but need to find something in the US. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to find gluten-free rapadura in the US? Or is there another type of sugar I should be looking for? I'm still confused by the different names and types of sugar. Thanks!

As far as I can tell Sucanat is safe and cheaper than Rapadura.

This is where I get confused. I have read some places that sucanat is not as good as rapadura and more processed, but other places say that isn't correct. I have been using sucanat because I can't find a gluten free rapadura. I guess I should read through some old threads again to understand the differences. It would be easier to just stick with sucanat.

I think the story is that it was recommended as a good product, then the processing changed and it was no longer recommended, but due to complaints they switched back to the original.
