Underneath the Skin Pimples

Thread Starter
Ds (12) has an underneath the skin pimple right on the inside and the bottom of his nostril. It is really hurting him. On top of that he has a cold or flu and it is painful for him to blow his nose and touch that spot. I remember getting those kind of pimples, but I remember there was not really much you could do but wait for them to go away.
Unless any of you know of something...
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Unfortunately I am all to farmiliar with these suckers!

You can put a hot compress on it to draw it out, it won't make it go away, but it does help speed up the healing process. Those cyst like ones never come to a head regardless.

You could put some BNZ peroxide zit stuff on it a few times/day. or if you want something more natural, try some tea tree oil (diluted) and/or grapefruit seed extract on it a few times/day. It is a tough spot because one needs to be able to leave it alone, but if he is sick and wiping his nose alot, that will increase irritation.

My aunt always told me to ice those ones. It worked for me. I guess you have to find what really works! How about taking him to get a facial?

I have no advice, but wanted to add that I hate them as well. So painful!

I got a chuckle when my SIL told me she had one over the holidays. She called it an undergrounder quarter-pounder!

Anyway... Sure hope your ds is feeling better real soon!
