Anne. "ahn" would be spelled Sivan or Siobhan (which is more sho-vhan).

I agree with this. Since "anne" is actually in the name, and its own syllable, it looks more like a Maryanne or a Julieanne, except this is Sevanne.

If you want "sh-vahn" then I would go with Sivan. If you want "sev-ahn" I would go with Sevahn.

I'd pronounce the -anne part as in Svetlana.

Maybe you need to look into a more straightforward name before everyone - family, friends, doctors, nurses, teachers - butcher your poor child's name and need months before they get even it right.

Ha ha, this is a name a friend just used for her newborn, and I have no idea how to pronounce it!! (Haven't talked to her yet to ask, embarrassed to have to!) Yes, it's apparently just as confusing as I thought. I first thought "anne" and then I thought "ahn" and now I guess I'll just have to find out which one it is!!

Sevanne sounds like Savanna but not Anna, Anne. If it's spelled Anne, then it's Anne! You can't really pronounce Anne any other way, imo.

It looks like a mispelling of Siobhan to me (sha-vahn).

I would say they probably mean it to be pronounced that way, though I would say it "sa-van"

I see it just like "sev-ann". Hmm, maybe "Seh-van" is more accurate. But I'm not very good in general at the pronunciation of names.
