I currently am trying out complaining loudly to my belly that I do not want to go to work tomorrow. Will report tomorrow on effectiveness.

Ha I did that on Tuesday and got 6 hours of contractions that went nowhere...but I did get out of work for the day!

Oh, oh, I have a new one I'm trying today. I ran out of my EPO pills! That must mean something

Oh, oh, and yesterday the whole family got sick. That must be the most inconvenient and likely timing, don't ya think? Although, I'm secretly feeling my energy coming back today.

There is LOTS of hilarious footage of me dancing. No contrax, though. Stuipd dancing. *grumble*

I'm so happy and excited for all the new babies in our DDC, but it's making me grumpy because I'm selfishly jealous. Can I admit that? In two days I'll be pregnant longer than I was with DD.

I've decided the best thing to do is to detach myself. I have to stop expecting to give birth any second. It's going to happen in 2016, and that's that. *nods*

I'm two weeks more pregnant than I've ever been with any of my kids And I am so totally jealous! Like I said I couldn't even log on here because it was so depressing last week! I wanted to feel happy, and I did, but I also felt utterly depressed.

I'm really struggling between being resolved to being pregnant for the next 16 years and wanting to yell "JUST GET OUT ALREADY!!!!"

I'm still on the Gentle Birth Formula but other than that, I have no intention of trying anything outside of my regular routine. I don't know if that means I can be a control or not, because I am blissfully reconciled to being pregnant forever. I am nowhere near as uncomfortable as anyone else here.

Well, I can't find my DDR disc, so I did Tae-Bo.

I'm still pregnant. Hmm.

Oh, and GTG, in case you were wondering, yelling "JUST GET OUT ALREADY" does not work.

No, I mean I'm still relatively comfortable! My last baby was 11 lbs. This one is still under 7 lbs as of my last appt. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW BIG THE EXPERIENTIAL DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN THOSE TWO!?!?!?

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good. The only time things are bad is sleeping and when I'm stupid and eat massive amounts of food despite the fact that my stomach is smaller than my fist.

Can you tell I just ate myself stupid on pierogies?

Please do admit that. I'm more than willing to make the same confession. I'm so happy for all the Mamas that are holding their babes right now but I feel more and more grumpy for every one I read about

I thought I was going to be having this baby any time based on a number of contractions that I had early Friday but they petered out by the afternoon and I haven't felt ONE since.

I had sex earlier and have had 3 hours or so of contractions. No real cervical change and these suckers hurt. I am not pleased.

The next congregant who makes a joke about me making it until next weekend (a ladies' group retreat where I'm songleading) is going to get socked. It's almost 2 full weeks before my due date. Seriously, people. And the next lady who offers me a ride "in case you go into labor on the retreat" or asks if my midwife will "allow" me to travel 45 minutes to Malvern is going to suffer the same fate.

And yup, a bit of jealousy over here too. But just a bit. I'm still in denial that it's so close.

Let me preface this by saying you are all beautiful strong intuitive loving women and mothers! Go you!

you have every right to be jealous (or rather envious!) hormones unite! (power rangers for pregnant women???)

i felt the same way reading all of these birth annoucements and being over and pretty close to be my most pregnant ever. i want you to know that you are doing a great job and not giving into pressure and doing what makes you feel comfortable...well when you look back and i don't mean physically!!

i want to say that i feel (just a little) like i betrayed myself for "inducing" (i.e lots of natural inductions then needing a bit of pit but turning it off after 2 hrs) and it did stress me out a little during birth.

Umm....maybe cause it really feels like I'm carrying a really really big baby in here. It feels bigger than my 7lber (my biggest) who was a month early. Ai!

Every day, baby spends all day slowly dropping further and further into my pelvis. By the end of the day, every day, baby is so low in there that it's uncomfortable.

I go to bed with lots of pressure and a rock-hard uterus, feeling like labor is going to happen sometime soon.

Then baby works his/her way back out of my pelvis a bit overnight, and I wake up with nothing.

*pout*

Did anything else happen??

Nothing new for me today, just extra tired. Woke up 880 times running to the bathroom nearly peeing my pants. Lost two huge chunks of mucus this morning when I got up, but not bloody or anything really exciting. Just gross.

I'm going to try to stay distracted today, somehow. Really I still have a week to go until my due date...I should have never let myself think this baby would come out a week early like DD did. I'll know better next pregnancy.
