need a bit of advice

Ok...so 7 days ago we decided to ttc....my expected cd1 was yesterday. Instead I am on cd45. I was pretty sure I ovulated about a week before we ttc....lots and lots of EWCM, increased libido, a bit of cramping. Well at the beginning of this cycle I was sick with bronchitis and was on antibiotics. Maybe the sudden stress of wanting to TTC threw me off? Usually my cycles run from about 35-43 days...not generally longer.
Oh yeah....I had started Vitex and VitBComplex on Sat....but was worried that maybe I shouldn't start vitex until after cd1 arrives....what do you think?
So do I just continue doing bbt (started only on Sat) and assume that maybe I didn't ovulate, even though I seemed to go through all the usual symptoms? Meaning my O can sneak up at any point at this time? I just wish it would get here so I can get down to business

Have you tested? It's possible you're somehow pregnant! However, being sick and on antibiotics could have delayed your O a few days. I don't know about Vitex, but maybe. The temping will be useful after doing it for a while: you'll start to see patterns. But it probably won't help answer this question. Hope you get answers soon!

Well, the first unprotected bd was late last Thursday (this was a week after I had suspected ovulation)...maybe my symptoms were earlier than actual O?....I only started temping Sun...how long should I wait before HPT? I mean, it would be great if that were the case....I am just doubtful.

oh, I see. Well...I would say that you could wait 10-14 days after you BD'd to do a test. In that time, if you haven't gotten your period I would call your doc, just to check up on things. Anybody else have advice on this? It's pretty common to have a cycle here and there where O happens at a weird time, or doesn't happen. It's hard to wait, but hopefully time will tell sooner than later.
