Have not gone through everything, but the ST did go over her stuff.
He was DX at 2 with speech apraxia. Last year they did articulation disorder. Now here are the results of his tests from the ST at school (we will get his results for that when it is done this summer - usually June).
His results are what have me wondering...
Receptive came back at 135 - average for his age/grade is 100 to a high of 115. Said he is like on a 3rd grade level.
Expressive came back at 133 - average for his age/grade is 100 to a high of 115. Again said he is like on a 3rd grade level.
They mentioned that he "might" be gifted.
They also, after my discussion with his classroom teacher, kept/added something about transition services - meaning that someone will be in weekly contact with his Kinder teacher next year for a while to determine how he is transitioning. She said that after we talked, she thought about it, and that he has been in her room for a little over 2 years and that he knows expectation and limits with her, and that when he goes into a new room he may not and may regress to see what he can get away with.
Our school district has nothing for gifted kids until they are in 3rd grade....
I hopefully have the fully copy of everything to review further on the MFE results, so I can post more about them later.
