OK, so I've been really digging the green smoothie thing lately (as in, very lately, like the past week!). Anyway, I've been doing young spinach + fruit, until today, when I tried kale. The kale just didn't puree (is that the word) as well as the spinach.
I'm just using a regular blender (a Krups model 239, which I learned has a blade that was recalled in 1994
). If I look into buying a new blender, is there one that I can get that will do a decent job without spending the amount of money I'd need to spend for a Vitamix or something similar?
