The basic rule is have no food more frequently than once every 4 days. So simplified:
Day 1: beef, tomato, rice, banana
Day 2: chicken, broccoli, millet, apple
Day 3: pork, squash, buckwheat, cantaloupe
Day 4: salmon, carrot, sorghum, strawberry
You can have it as many times during that day as you want, but not that day and the next day. It's supposed to allow you to eat some of your mildly intolerant foods, and prevent you from sensitizing your system and losing more foods. We've been on one for about 2 years. It's set up by food family (so that all foods from the same family are eaten on the same day).
