My 13mo discovered a few days ago how to pull her prefold out of the diaper belt (!!) so I decided to put her in undies to try it out. I had bought some cheap trainers (and I don't buy girly stuff for her, but I got her some pink flowery ones 
) and some undies (green with monkeys 
) and all of a sudden, she is climbing DS's potty stool and trying to open the potty lid when she has to pee! 
We only had two misses yesterday and so far, none today!
I'm so excited! And all of a sudden, my intuition seems to have come back. And she's holding it longer! Everything is going so much better! We are coming out of month or so long pause of missing almost every pee and some of the poops.
I'm trying to keep in mind that there may be more potty strikes in our future, but I'm just so happy I had to share.
