So, after 8 years of severe mental illness, I feel successful!
The other day was a good stand out, and my mom helped me see it.
We are in the middle of moving to a new house.
My car is on it's last leg.
I got up 3 hours early to take my son to the ortho, which turned out to be a great appt. - no expander!
Then we went to Mil's so honey could do my brakes, and I did 7 loads of laundry.
While doing the brakes, the caliper broke apart, so mil and I went galavanting about to get a new one.
We got back, and just as I was getting the next load of laundry switched, my son came screaming in from the yard, "WATER! WATER! WATER!" clutching his throat. he paused a second after the first full glass, started screaming again. repeat 6 times. Then he could finally talk. He swallowed a bee and it stung him. So off to the ER, it's not super close, so we went just in case. Fortunately he didn't react, just felt yucky for a day or so.
So, we left mil's at 10 PM, we got there at 10 AM, long day.
I called my mom to tell her about it (she lives across the country)
She said, Heather, just a year ago you would have been curled up in a ball, hiding in the closet and howling! You're doing great!!!

Thank you mom! I just wanted to share my success.
