Funny with DD's Ped

DD just turned a year old, and we eat eggs for breakfast. I make sure that DD gets mostly yolks so that she gets the extra fat and vitamins, and since I don't want to waste good food, I eat the extra whites. I was explaining this to DD's pediatrician at our appointment, and she responded, "Well, you're eating low-fat." I didn't know what to say. It's dripping with ghee.

LOL low fat! I'm thinking back on when I used to eat poached eggs swimming in pasture butter... yum! There's a lot of biting of tongue when the low fat comments come up. I just smile.

Yup. I was freaking out a bit when I had to do a physical this past Feb. because we switched health insurance co's. But my BMI was just fine and apparently my blood work all came back normal......Thankfully I wasn't grilled on what my daily diet consisted of!

Nobody's gonna mess with my babies' diets - that's for sure!
