My doctor wants me to start taking a bio-identical hormone (progesterone) again. I took it during pregnancy too. She believes that it will help me with the adrenal fatigue I've been experiencing. I told her that I'd always heard that progesterone will inhibit milk supply, so I was immediately against it. She says it does not inhibit milk supply. But, isn't it right that when you have the baby your progesterone level drops dramatically and that signals the body to make milk?

Should I start taking progesterone? If I did something to mess up my supply I would be devastated!
