best clock?

Thread Starter
I want to find a wall clock to expose ds to time (not looking to actively teach time yet) because he is SO interested in numbers and asking what time it is etc. I'm guessing that I want one that has analog and digital so he can see both? Here's a link

to one that looks good to me but is more $ than I was hoping for.
Any thoughts?

I wouldn't bother with that clock even though it seems nice. I just wouldn't want to spend the money. I'd go with a plain old analog clock. Do you have a digital clock in the house? or one near where this new clock will be? That would be good enough for me.

You have me thinking...our only analog clock only has Roman numerals...that's too much for my 4 year old. I wonder if I need a new clock now!

Well, kind of a different vein but I just bought this one for the kids. http://www.thinkgeek.com/geek-kids/3-7-years/c1de/

We have analog clocks on the computer, stove, microwave, and alarm clocks as well as watches so they see those frequently too.

We had this too, but dang it, I never could get it to work right. The pendulum would swing for a bit and then stop. I took it apart and tried again, read over all the tips for success and tips if not working. UGH! I am not really mechanically inclined, but I didn't expect this to be such a pain. It sounds like it worked for you--I am glad to hear it.
