Breastfeeding and dental work, help please?

I know there have been threads on this before, I looked back 5-6 pages and didnt see anything recent though.

I need to get some dental work done next week. I'll be having one tooth extracted, and a filling replaced on another one.

What do I need to know before hand? I really would prefer not to have to go drug-free on this, its a terrifying thought for me.

Also, my DS will not drink expressed BM from a bottle.

Help Mamas, I am very nervous

Dental work is not a contraindication for breastfeeding

Here is some great info from kellymom to calm your fears
http://kellymom.com/health/illness/dentalwork.html
and this is for tooth extractions: http://kellymom.com/health/meds/sedation.html

ETA: Lots of great info there - the bottom line is keep nursing as usual.

I had dental work done several times while bfing. There is no reason that you cant bfed even if they put you under you can still nurse after you wake enough.
