I'm crunchy?

Thread Starter
My name is Cyndi and I thought it was fun, after reading some posts on here, that I would be considered a bit crunchy! Not all the way, though.

Here are my crunchy stats:
- LOVED my son's natural, midwife-attended waterbirth last December. It was the most beautiful birth experience I have had. I also have two daughters, seven and ten, whom I birthed w/o epidurals but with Demerol, in a hospital. I used to say I had them "natural" but after having no drugs whatsoever, I realize I didn't know what natural was!
- Homeschool my daughters, 1st and 4th grade. This year definitely leaned more towards unschooling as I was first a 3rd-trimester prego lady and then a mom of a newborn.
- Chose, in full agreement w/my DH, not to circumcise our son.
- Have a goal to never let one drop of formula touch my baby's lips! I have attained the goal thus far, hurray! My girls, unfortunately, were combo breast/formula babies as I had to work and didn't have the passion to make at-work pumping a lasting habit.
- Love organic and natural food... can't afford to buy it exclusively, however. But do try to lean that way whenever possible. Would like to feed DS exclusively organic/natural until at least age 1. We'll see how that pans out. : )
- Grew up the daughter of a chiropractor and believe wholeheartedly in chiropractic.
- Am interested in cloth diapering, in fact, that's why I joined this forum.
- Allow my baby to tell me when it's time to eat and sleep, not the other way around.

But... I do vaccinate my kids... I do shop at Walmart... and I do drive an SUV. I hope you'll like me, anyway!

Hi and welcome to MDC! I too am slightly crunchy. I find though that most are welcoming no matter what level of crunch you have, just as long as you have a passion for your children, and your voice.
