WE have 2 Confirmed Cases of CP, Possible 4!!!

We have chicken pox !

There is two confirmed cases between two families and a possible two more. The two possibles, only a couple 'spots'... hopefully more will appear in the next couple days, other symptoms are present.

So excited, I have been doing the CP dance ALL DAY!

Was it caught from a child who had been recently vaccinated you mean or an unvaccinated child?

What state are you in?

And just out of curiosity, how long does the virus survive on surfaces? (Any possibility of mailing out the pox to those who are looking for it, for example? not even sure if this is possible or has been done before. anyone know?)

I'm hoping to come across it naturally and locally myself, so I can be boosted, at the same time as my child catching it naturally for the first time. I'm guessing I haven't been boosted since about 95. My 3 nephews all had it then and I was babysitting for them during that time. I think its crappy how difficult it can be to "locate" nowdays. Not fair to those of us who aren't scared of it and want the real deal - not the vaccine.

i think my little boy may have cp , it's really common here, i'm always hearing that so and so has cp.
before coming on this site i thought it was common everywhere, never even knew there was a cp vaccine.

Not from a child recently vaccinated.

YES!!! It can survive on surfaces, and it can be transmitted from state to state, or even country to country, It can be mailed, however I do not know that anyone should admit to doing so or receiving such. It is possible that in the wrong hands, that kind of information could be misunderstood as someone attempting some sort of 'bio-terror' attack.
