do I need one? would it get a lot of use?

my kids are almost 3 and 4.5.

If you have one, which one and what do you tthink of it? They seem to be a bit pricey, so I want to think about this before I buy one.

Dh built us one out of scrap wood and plastic containers. You can rig one up pretty easily using whatever you have laying around.

They use it occasionally and it comes up every now and then in the science curriculum I want to use next year. It's definitely not something I'd spend money on.

We had one when Rain was little. It was fun... and only about $10 at Rainbow Resource...
