What is bulkier- flats or prefolds?

Hi ladies... still trying to decide between the flats and prefolds. I am wondering which is bulkier when on baby... really don't want to toss out all of his current-size clothes!

Are you using infant size prefolds? If so the flats may be builkier. If you are talking about regular size then the flats would be trimmer. I only know that on my 21m old who is the size on a 9 to 12 month old. The prefolds are a bulkier. Not by much though. I don't think either are that bulky though, in my experience when I used pockets they were much bulkier.

Our flats are a bit bulkier now.. Here are two pictues one is a flat diaper the other a NB prefolds both with Bummi newborn sized covers..

Flat diaper top are with the organmi fold the bottom with a NB fold the NB is trimmer right now..
