Best place to buy vegetable plants? (central NJ)

I'm not ready to try seeds I'd love organic plants or atleast not sprayed ones. Anyone know of a good nursery or farm?

Or just really cheap conventional ones?

In Princeton, Whole Earth Center & Whole Foods sell organic veg. plants. not sure if any are in yet though.

Rutgers spring plant sale is coming up. May 7,8,9 I think. You can google it. I dont think there was organic, but the selection was tremendous last year. Get there early tho on Fri if you can they do sell out of things. Also, bring a wagon/cart of somekind to carry them back to the car, which is a little walk. they also sell flowers & trees. The help is very knowledgeable.

Also, there is Gasko's family farm which is one of my favorite places to shop. Their prices cant be beat & have tons of great plants/flowers/mulch/dirt/etc... They are in Englishtown & well worth the trip if you need flowers as well as veggies. I drive 40min to get there from Northern Middlesex Co.

Don't be afraid of seeds... some are very easy! Carrots are easy, you just need loose soil & thin them when they're a couple inches tall. Squash & cukes are also easy from seed, as is lettuce.
