Which temp to use?

97.45: I took my first temp at 3:15 when DD woke up to nurse. She then gave me a hard time going back to sleep, and was up and down until 4:20 or so.

98.34: Temp taken at 6:45 when kids got up for the day.

So which temp do I use?

hmm..I would say if you normally temp at the later time to got with that. It sounds like you got a couple hours of sleep before then. I would make a note in your chart, though.

that's exactly what i would do, use the second temp and make a notation on your chart. i probably wouldnt even take my temp at 3:15 if you normally get up around 6:45. i know there's always the thought in your mind that you might not be able to go back to sleep, but it's so much earlier, it's likely to confuse you anyway. ff has a formula for adjusting, i believe it's +1/10th of a degree for every 30 mins earlier than usual, and if you do that, those temps come pretty close, so i think you will be ok either way.

I had a big temp drop this morning, so I'm pretty sure that regardless of yesterday's temp, I'm out this month.
