I bought an Organic-label green pepper from a local grocery store and we saved the seeds to sprout. After letting them dry for a few weeks, we tried planting them and they didn't sprout. Most other Organic-labeled veggies' seeds will sprout for us.
If it's organic it isn't suppose to be irradiated either, which sterilizes the seeds. It definitely wasn't mis-labeled because there were 3 stickers on the little thing.
My thought is that it wasn't actually Organic. Does any one have any other theory as to why the seeds wouldn't have sprouted (other than the pepper wasn't really "organic" to begin with)?
