She woke up with high fever and was admitting the hospital at midnight and they think she has a kidney infection. She's also about 5 months pregnant.

Can anyone help me with suggestions?

Just found out they gave her antibiotics...uhhhhh so getting her on a good probiotic asap! What else???

Wow! That wasn't obviously the answer I was looking for. Why even post that!? I'm trying to help her out because we don't belief doctors are the say all and they usually do more harm than good. I'm looking for natural alternatives to help her situation hence the probiotics since she took antibiotics plus anything else that can help strengthen her kidneys and immune system right now

hope your sill is well soon.

If she's on antibiotics the best probiotic for her to take is Florastor.

I hope she gets better quickly! Illness during pg is so stressful.

Sorry but I just don't see what role you are playing in this. Did your SIL ask for your help? Obviously she does trust doctors since she is there, so will she take your advice and recommendations or will she be offended?

I personally wouldn't be "Getting her" on anything unless she came to me and asked.

Why are you concerned about what role I'm playing in this? I just don't see how that is any of your business??? I wasn't posting asking for advice on If I SHOULD be helping my sil out I was posting on what I CAN be doing to help her out. My brother called and asked for advice which they both do very often. They don't trust doctors BTW but sometimes it's a route you must go.
