Thanks for the update! I'm so glad I read it before going out and buying some!

I seem to be the minority. So...you might still want to purchase some, just a bag; not a case!

Did you say you froze yours? Maybe that is what made the difference?

No...I just purchased it and put it in the fridge. Do you think it is bad? Does yours not have a strange smell and taste?
I'm opening the moz today to see if there is a difference.

I have a very sensitive sense of smell. I'm too afraid to try it.

Yeah, I wanted to love it, too, but I don't. I totally hear you about the smell - it's not BAD, it's just...wrong. It makes me nauseated every time I smell it. I don't know what my problem is. My 3 1/2 y/o DS (who LOVES cheese) thinks it's great - so hooray for that! I'll buy it for him. Me? I'll stick to my own homemade cashew cheese and trying recipes out of The Uncheese Cookbook. I'm also open to trying it in recipes (in small quantities so the smell doesn't put me off).

My children and I also have sensitive senses of smell...so it might not bother someone with a 'normal' nose!

So far I have made a stuffed bread and a few pizzas with the mozzarella and I've loved the "cheese." Definitely buy a package before a case though. It does have a strong flavor, IMO.
