old spit up stains

I was organizing my dd's infant clothes today and noticed that there are old yellow stains on some of them....even though I washed them before storing them. How can I get these out?

frustrating, huh?

I just recently laundered DD1's nb/infant clothes for the new babe and found quite a few of these.

Long, strong soaking in Oxyclean got most of them out

That's what I was going to recommend, just be sure to use hot water for the oxyclean soak, I didn't know It was heat activated and couldn't figure out why it never worked for me. Now I get it lol.

I've used oxyclean successfully too!

I used oxyclean too. There were a few things where the oxyclean wasn't enough, and I lat them dry out in the sun, and that worked great.

Before loaning out a pile of baby clothes to a friend, I sprayed every yellow patch with Oxyclean Baby. I don't know what the difference is between regular Oxyclean and the baby spray version, but it was super easy and no soaking involved.
Everything came out pristine
