Ds is 10 and has a swollen left tonsil all week. My mother actually noticed it because his voice sounded different..but he didn't really complain. He had a minor sore throat the previous week but nothing major. Everyone here at home is having allergies and the pollen count has been really high..so I thought that was to blame.
I have had him gargle with warm salt water and use listerine after he brushes his teeth.
I put the humidifier in his room at night.
I gave him Ibuprofen the first 2 nights for swelling , but it didn't do much so I stopped since he's not in pain
I am not sure if I should take him in to the Dr. since he isn't in pain..
All of the kids have been healthy and we haven't had to go to the doctor for anything for almost 2 yrs.
any suggestions would be great
