can I switch formula occasionally?

My 3mo foster son has most of his formula paid for by WIC and we can only buy a specific brand but I end up buying 1-2 cans each month with my own $ and would prefer to buy organic if he wouldn't suffer from the change.

It would probably be best to keep him on one brand, if not, it could upset his tummy.

I would say that the benefits of ocassional organic formula would not be greater than keeping the same formula... some babies are OK with formula changes but some get very upset stomachs - I don't think it'd be worth it.

Keep with what you know works. Trust me, formula troubles are miserable. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, lol. It's NOT worth the trouble if it doesn't settle well with your baby -- and organic formulas have a somewhat bad track record of causing constipation.
