symptoms - real?

i got a BFN today at 8DPO (i think - not charting). no worries but i'm curious about symptoms. i'm tired, bitchy, nauseated, but that could just be unrelated. what i'm curious about is, my bust has increased a full inch! heavy, achy, sensitive. my formerly silvery-white skin has turned into a rainbow of blue veins and red capillaries. it started around my nipples, spread to my upper chest. even my face looks different.

has anyone experienced this and NOT been pregnant?

Me! It randomly started one month 2 years ago (never once had it before then) and became monthly.... Ended up that the first sign I was pregnant was the absence of that by 7dpo.

Almost all early pregnancy symptoms are caused by an increase in progesterone, which happens no matter if you are pregnant or not (and if you add more progesterone to the mix you can convince yourself you are pregnant months after the last time you ever DTD.... Ask me how I know ;p lol)

Hormone levels vary from month to month and symptoms of hormonal swings can vary, too, ime.

I'd take it as a good sign, if you're excessively pregnancy hormone laden, though. It seems like it could contribute to your success (or make you glad you have a break from the madness if it disappears at the end of your cycle).

FWIW, my ex-h and I were TTC for several months, then we separated and divorced, and the months following when I wasn't having sex, it was interesting to notice the hormonal shifts during my cycle, and how I would swear that maybe, just maybe, I was somehow pregnant and missed it, just from symptoms I was having.

Hormones are strong things, they do what they want and don't play nicely a lot of the time. Peace to you while you wait.
