Nanotechnology......hmmmm I have been reading about this lately. very scary to me. There is evidence that it is not safe.

I feel like many autoimmune disease are created by us (science, man, out toxic environment) and that this is just another example of us trying to fix a problem we created, using yet more toxic crap.....and around and around we go......

I totally agree. Scary stuff indeed.

Let's create a vaccine for something we created by using vaccines...::::Headdesk:::

They are working on a vax right now for a hospital acquired bacteria...

Does anybody NOT see the circular logic here?

Since it seems to mess with the T cells I wondered if it might increase the risk for cancer. I'm sure theres a "catch" somewhere. I suppose if you already have diabetes you might be willing to take that risk, hoping for the best. But I wonder how many people may be trading diabetes for cancer. IT will be one giant experient, as usual...

Type 1 is not far more common, type 2 is, but that is a lifestyle disease, not an AI.

I have Type1, and I would NOT give my kids the vaccine. I just pray they stay healthy.

Actually this is not correct. Yes Type 2 is more common, but so is type 1, especially in children. The incidence of type 1 diabetes is now twice as high among children as it was in the 1980s, and 10 to 20 times more common than 100 years ago.

I suggest this book http://www.amazon.com/Diabetes-Risin.../dp/1607144581

it is full of studies....

So many problems are caused by all these artificial things, these synthetic hormones and all. It's disturbing that the "solutions" are yet more synthetic stuff.

I heard about this.

There's even talk about offering it to all pregnant women birthing in the hospital. You know, because home birth is dangerous and all . . . .

ETA: Sorry to get off topic. Back to lurking.

I was so scared of birthing in a hospital! I got a cyst on the lady bits after birth and you couldn't convince me it wasn't MERSA! I was literally crying over what would happen to my new baby when I died of MERSA because I delivered in the hospital.

I can laugh about it now that the pregnancy hormones are out of my system
