Aspie Mom questions

In getting my daughter diagnosed with Aspergers in addition to her Down Syndrome, I have also now been diagnosed with Aspergers. Are there other moms here with it and have you found medications and or supplements that help you? What else helps?
I am currently taking Desipramine but recently had to be reduced on my dosage due to my bloodlevels being too high. At the higher dose I thought I was doing well and functioning fairly well but on the lower dose I am having difficulty with focus and low energy/depression.
For anxiety I am doing really well with Calcium with D softgels(NOT tablets).
For the short term memory problems I have found that a high dose of Evening Primrose Oil softgels make it possible to tell you what I did this morning instead of waiting 3 days...
I am feeling good about the diagnosis because it validates what I have known for years. Right now I am mostly struggling with finding what works for other adults in hopes of having some direction for further follow up with my doctors.

How did you get your diagnosis? I'm self-diagnosed.

I take prozac for my anxiety but nothing else. EPO helps memory? I will have to look into that.

A gluten and casein free diet helped me immensely. Cutting refined white sugar ( organic cane sugar I can tolerate certain brands?) pretty much eliminated my anxiety issues. Diet helped so much it was actually drastic and weird at first... things felt a little flat! I am much more even keel now. Of course the Aspi-ness doesn't go away! But I am just much calmer and more balanced now.

I'm pretty sure I'm an Aspie too. I've been off wheat for a couple years (along with my son), and my partner feels like it's made my moods a bit more even. It's also helped just to know this is a likelihood; it allows me to give myself a little leeway and to recognize when and why I need to withdraw a bit.
