Help! Toddler & Constant Colds

Thread Starter
I've never posted here before and am looking for some advice. My DS is 18 months and this year seems to be getting one cold right after another. And not mild colds, but 102 degree F fevers, can't breathe at all, he's so congested and MISERABLE. And he just got over a bout of brochitis.

He's not in daycare, though he does go to our church's nursery on Sundays.

I know there is a culprit and that this isn't natural. We were off track on our diet back in Jan/Feb. But have since gotten back to eating well, though DS is still constantly getting sick. I'm still nursing, but what else can I do?

What could be causing his immune system to be so low? Is there anything besides vit. C that I can give him to help it out? A friend told me to give him acidophilus- but he eats yogurt everyday, is that enough?
Thanks for your help!

this sounds like my sons first 2 years until i figured out he was gluten and soy intolerant. i would look to food allergies as a possible culprit....
